Registration

Pre - registration and On the spot registration will be open on Sunday 10th July, from 12:00hrs - 19:00hrs, at the Secretariat desks, which will be in the Zeus Hall - Level 1 of the Conference Center.

Poster Boards

The poster boards are large enough to accommodate posters of max dimensions: height 179 cm and width 95 cm,
and are composed of a full white surface. Pins are not allowed. Blu-Tack and scotch tape will be provided at the poster-board desk located in level 0, for poster display. Authors need to be present at their posters for discussion with attendees during the session.

Two Poster Sessions are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Participants for poster session 1 may start dispaying their posters from Monday after the morning coffee break. Participants for poster session 2 may start displaying their posters from Wednesday after the morning coffee break.

It is each author’s responsibility to remove his/her poster immediately after the end of the sessions.

The organizers will remove any posters that have not been collected after the end of each Poster session. Organisers assume no responsibility for posters left up after this time.

Excursions

The Organizers are planning for two (2) Full Day excursions (Tuesday and Thursday) and four (4) half-day excursions (Wendesday afternoon), open to all participants.

The Tuesday Full day excursion is FREE only for accompannying persons who have payed the 150 Euros fee

Instructions for all Oral Presentations

Presentations may be done either through your own laptops (please make sure that you bring all the required accessories and adaptors to plug into the existing display system /VGA) or by collecting and submitting your powerpoint file(s) one day in advance.

Shuttle Buses

We kindly inform all ESOC2011 participants that on Sunday 10th July, there will be a FREE shuttle-bus service for the transport of participants and spouses from Heraklion "Nikos Kazantzakis" International airport to the Creta Maris Conference Centre.

As soon as you arrive at the airport, please look for the ESOC stuff with the sign: "ESOC2011", to guide you to or look for the coach with the "ESOC2011" sign, parked at the Airport Coach car-park in front of the arrivals exit.

Departure times for the airport are scheduled only for Sunday July 10 at:

09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00, 19:00 and 21:00.

For arrivals outside these hours please use either the Public bus Services running through the airport every half hour or take a taxi (average cost 35 Euro).
