INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
Abstract
A registered participant can present only one communication, although can
be co-author of several communications.
Please note that an accepted presentation cannot be
included in the Final Program unless it is accompanied by a completed Registration Form with the
appropriate payment of the presenting author. The procedure for Registration and Payment is
explained in the Registration section of the Main Menu.
Poster presentation
The majority of contributions will be presented as posters and, therefore, poster sessions will be one of
key elements of the ESOC 2011 scientific programme.
Form. The poster board dimensions are height 179cm and width 95cm. Blue tac & scotch tape will be
provided at the secretariat desk for poster display.
Presentation. The presenters will be asked to arrange their posters at designated panels before the
beginning of the poster session and remove them immediately after its closure.
Lecture presentation
Since the ESOC 2011 scientific programme will follow a given time schedule, all oral communications including discussion should not exceed the limit specified below.
| Keynote & plenary lectures: | 45 min |
| Invited speakers' lectures: | 30 min |
| Young talented organic chemists' lectures: | 30 min |
| Oral communications: | 15 min |
Data projectors. The lecture room will be equipped with data projectors only controlled by PC with MS PowerPoint software (version 2007). The presentation files should be provided on CD-ROM or flash memory USB sticks. If necessary, laptops (under Windows or Mac OS) can be used directly for the presentation but organisers will have no responsibility for solving laptop-data projector communication problems. A PC for checking the PowerPoint presentation beforehand will be available in the Conference Computer Room.
Language
The official symposium language is English.
